-FirstClass (to get essential s/w)
-DU Meter (to monitor updates, etc)
-MS Udates (could be 4hrs to 2 days)
-MS Security Essentials (for virus protection)
-Total Commander (to assist file copying)
-Opera/Chrome browser(s)
-Flash (and test YouTube)
-Java Runtime Environment
-RemoteAccess (LogMeIn or VNC-SingleClick)
-Adobe Acrobat (test pdf)
-Apple Quicktime (to play .mov files)
-iTunes
-LockWorkstation icon
-Printer
-Burn DVD backup set for factory recovery


Version 1 created 07june...
-The BASICS...
-Create a new .wri document for this particular customer/computer
-Create TWO partitions: c:20GB(ntfs) and d:remainder(fat32)(data)(can also GHOST onto it as fat32!)
-Install XP/XP-Pro onto c: (do a "fast format ntfs" on c: drive partition)
-Install all drivers (eg: IntelChipset, Videocard, Soundcard, etc...)
-Check under CP> System> Hardware> DeviceManager ensure clean (no "?" items)
-Do all XP updates immediately (over 80!)
-Install:
---CD/DVD Burner software (and/or Nero/Roxio)...
---AdobeAcrobatReader
---FirstClass
---Firefox
---Java (test Leh)
---Flash (test @ www.christomlin.com)
---QuickTime (test @ apple.com/quicktime... play movie trailer)
---FooBar (test with .mp3)
---IrfanView (test with .jpg)
---WinRAR
---Printer
---WordProcessing(OpenOffice,etc)
---RemoteAccess (Help From Fred)... sc-fj.exe (vnc SingleClick)
---(...or enable RemoteDesktop/RemoteAssistance if XP-PRO)
-OPTIONAL:
---DUMeter
---TotalCommander(and NoteTab editor??)
-After all done and tested...
-----Remove all mappings (net use * /d)
-----Ghost to d:\images
-----Burn a copy of the image (using Nero/Roxio from above)
-----DeepFreeze (V5.20.120.1125)
